CNY 2nd day - marina barrage & chun diao her pan

it was the 2nd day of the CNY.. i didn't get the chance to go out wif my love on monday after staying till very late at my mum's side grandma's house in anchorvale link. so on the 2nd day i told my parents tat im goin to my godmother house only and after that goin out wif my gf. went to meet my gf after visiting my godmother house @ teck whye.. far away siak..! long ride back to toa payoh.. but one thing we found out after meetin each other is we duno where to go becoz most of the shoppin mall's shops are close. so we just aimlessly went to town lor..but my gf dun wana get off the bike so we kept riding through orchard until we go suntec. then we just agreed to go marina pier to chill n relax coz the weather is very good! when we were there, we notice that there's this place (marina barrage) that i knew it has open but i duno where is it? so instead of goin to the pier, we went to search for the barrage.. haha! didn't waste our effort..we found the place. its very cool lor. found another place to chill out man! this place is owned by PUB. it is to stop floodling in spore low-lying area. check out the pics that i took!

the experience at the marina barrage was good lar. at least there is one more place for me & gf to go next time. haha. we havent explore finish yet wif that place lor. haha.. very nice chill out corner at the cafe lar. one word i can describe it.. 'shiok' haha! u guys shd come to this place if u havent or duno got such a place. hee.. peace out at marina barrage!

duno my gf lar.. wanna take the follow 2 pics and ask me to put into my blog.. i just make her happy by including into this msg here.. kind of interesting rite the food! hee.. the one wif a lot fruits are sweets lor. but i didn't eat lar.. dun bear to eat lor. haha.. the one below is 'lian gow' aka 'lian cake' haha.. duno how to write lar. hee.. that fish even more worst.. make u more dun bear to eat. haha... if all the food is lidat die liao man.. cos everyone will not bear to eat. haha!

after went home to change my attire.. we zoom down to marina floating platform to the 'chun diao her pan' lor.. both me and my gf every year will come check out this place.. we were lucky that went we were there, they just set off the firecrackers! haha.. actually i was expecting fireworks coz the previous years got fireworks every nite.. hmm.. after the firecracker, i kept lookin at the sky... erm,no fireworks ley.. my gf then told me.."economy not gd..so no fireworks". budget siak! haha.. took lots of photos over here coz there are so many interesting stuff to snap! haha.. i even try my luck at the wishing well.. i got hit 2 wishes wif my 3 coins thrown.. hee!! the first one was about money come come into my pocket (duno how to type out the chinese words la) and the 2nd one was whatever i wish, i will get. hee.. ! nice! u can see it at the pics below. it was crowded lar.. mayb becoz of the limited space.. the food feast area more worst lor.. like chinatown lidat.. super crowded. must squeeze here and there. haiyo.. quickly grab our food and then went up to the stands and sit down.. tis is the first time me and my gf got a chance to get into the marina floating platform lor. took pics to cherish the memories.. happy chinese new year to u guys! ;)
