MY SOCCER MATE'S FIANCEE! :)

on sat, my team elias park beat crescent villa 4-0 at meridian jc in a drizzling nite. we know tat we must win this match to stand a chance to get promoted to division 2. we must pray that the result of other matches did not go against us. but first we must get our job done. we started the game with high tempo and we were pressing our opponent high up the pitch. we were surprise that our opponent was having a go at us and thus left a lot of open space in their defence. we created opportunities easily and we took the lead inside the first 5 minutes after a superb cross by dawood for thilan to finish it at the far post. it was a positive start for us. we were two ahead later in the first half when one teammate was put through on goal and his shot hit the gk's leg. the ball rolled nicely for me to strike a fantastic lob into the goal from 30m. haha.. even before the goal go into the net, i already started celebrating my goal as i was very confident that its goin it. haha.. thankfully, it reali went in. haha. that brings my tally to the season to 5 goals. this season im didnt score much. i missed too many chances in my previous matches but consider that im had played with an injury since the very first day for the league match. furthermore, all my 5 goals comes in the 2nd round. ok.. back to the match.. we extended our lead to 3-0 went muhammed headed the ball into the back of the net from a freekick from doug. 3-0.. we were cruising! we only managed to score one goal in the 2nd half as we were abit slack but still pass the ball around nicely. we can even afford to miss a penalty kick after our gk wasted his chance to score on the spot. this was his 2nd penalty miss this year. haiz.. wasted lar. duno wat he doin. after the match, we then found out that summerville had won their game 2-0 n that is as good as we were not getting promoted although we still have a slim chance of promoting but that looks very remote. haiz.. i take it as we failed our target this year. its so wasted man coz we were a classy team above the rest of the league. but wat to do.. tats life. gota to rem the experience and use it better next time round. so my football season with elias park has come to and end. will be very sian coz no nfl football until next year. nfl division 3... see u next year!
