MY SOCCER MATE'S FIANCEE! :)

just now my intercon team, paya lebar csc won our match by penalty shootout after the game was 1-1. we played the 1st 20 min with 9 players and 10 players for the 2nd half. our previous game we were even better. we started the match with 7 players but still managed to lead 2-0 in the 1st 15mins. but this match is different. the opponent is slight much stronger than the previous opponent. we were playing against aljunied-hougang at the sgoon stadium. i was hoping that we got 11 players from the start of the game but i guess my hope was over when i only see 9 players. i believed with our full squad, we can go all the way to the final of the intercon but now i already given up on that hope after seeing the turnout for the game. we were lucky not to lose this match. we scored 1st through our capt and hold on to the lead until halftime. but after the start of the 2nd half, we concede a soft goal and the score was 1-1. i had a chance to wrapped up the game when i received the ball from the left after the capt cross it. the ball was bouncing and the gk rush out of his line. i managed to put the ball over him but the ball also went over the bar. haiz.. the ref blew for penalty shootout. the gk for the opponent was my former teammate and current gk coach of balestier (elangovan). he came on in the last few mins of the match. wasted man nv score! up next was the penalty shootout. i was first to go. i know that elangovan is a experience gk. so i was very very careful with my kick. i tried my penalty trick and guess what, he saves it! but......... the line-man saw an infrigement as elangovan step off his line early. haha!! i was so lucky. phew!!! the 2nd attempt i tuck it away. in the end, we were lucky as our opponent didn't capitalise our misses and we finally won it through sudden dead kick. haha!!! haiz.. but wat to do.. my team tis yr ok ok only. furthermore,im not 100% fit too still struggling wif my ankle injury. after the match, my ankle hurts man! damn lar... so sian man now. now we gota wait for the round of 16 draw to find out who is our next opponent. i tink our team got a uphill battle. oh ya.. btw,tis was the first ever time that i nv score in a intercon match since last year. haha.. i scored 2 goals for every match i played since last year. haha.. sad man my scoring run ends. hehe.. nvm!
