we played div3 leader, summerville, at st wilfred just now. it was a rainy day and i thot most likely the match wil call off becoz of lighting and rain. but surprisely the lighting managed to stop after the ref give 15mins to see whether the weather is ok to continue. before the start of the match, there were some problem already. becoz summerville's jersey clash wif ours and since we were the home team, we got the right to wear watever colours we want. the ref wasnt even sure about the rule. the ref for this game was damn bloodly cock lar. we refuse to change our jersey becoz we hav the right to wear that colour although we had another jersey but that is the warm up kit. if we continued our decision not to change we will surely be awarded wif the 3pts but after i heard my teammate said that we are scare to play them tats why we dun change, that realli makes me very angry. its not as if tat its our fault like that. its their stupid idiot admin person who bought the wrong jersey wat! in the end, we still change our jersey and was even determine to beat them. we are playing a bunch of losers who use words tat is totally uncalled for. summerville is a loser team man!
we started the game very positively. we attack them until their were panting as they cant stop our attacking play. wave after wave we created 1/2 chances but couldnt capitalise on it. then came one lucky moment for them..they scored wif their 1st attack in the game. 1-0 to them and they were not even in the game. football can be a cruel game at time. we managed to pull ourselve back after mimi equaliser within mins after we concede. 1-1.. game on. momentum was on us since we were attacking non-stop. their defense got no clue abt our attacking. they were back pedalling but that was when another sucker punch came at us. they scored again through their 2nd attack! they are damn bloodly lucky to get both goals as our defence were not alert. 2-1 down.. we still believed in ourself to fight back.. then came the worst moment of the match n i guess my worst ever miss. after gd work by sentilan, his fierce shot was parried away by their gk. i pounce on the rebound. wif the goal at my mercy...it was a gimme! the gk was on the ground coz he's too fat to recover in time. i was about 5 yards off the goal and the goal gapping at me. but the thing was that the ball was bouncing. my eye just concentrate on the goal as i know i nd to put it in there to make it 2-2. once i go for the shot, the ball flew over wide!!! I JUST MISSED AN OPEN GOAL. i realli cant believed! i must have shoot when the ball was bouncing upwards. damn it man! everybody was shock!! no matter how many times my teammates feel abt me missing the shot, i felt more terrible lor. i still put on a brave face as i know it was so damn paisey. i was even more determine to get it rite. after my 'superb' miss, the whole team's morale was like very low. we started to let summerville play and they kept attacking us after we make silly errors losing the ball unneccessary. soon.. they capitalise on our errors by scoring the 3rd goal of a free-kick. 3-1.. everybody looks shock! now u just imagine how i feel.. i felt damn bad man! from being able to equalise to 2-2 but thanks for that miss we are 3-1 down. it was a blow to me but i still hv confidence in myself. i did had another glorious chance just before the halftime. when i was being put through by johnny down the left channel. i was heading towards goal with the ball rolling fast due to the wet pitch. i could get my body position right to make a good shot. i end wif a tight angle to shoot. and the gk came out. i saw the gap in between his legs as i aim at it. but looks like my aim was bad becoz he managed to block it using his legs and went out for a corner... shit man! excellent chance ley! that resulting corner saw a few off the ball incident just becoz of the opponent started it first by kickin our player. when i was tryin to question tell the opponent "wats that for?? unnecessary rite" one of their player (roniwardi mamsa = dickhead) tap on my face using his palm. another unnecessary thing to do. i just told him "u last time sleague player huh?? this is how u behave" and then i showed him the sign of 'smelly' referrin to his behaviour stinks. he was not hapi. from tat corner i know he wan to give me a punch or kick as he kept followin me. i just played hide and seek wif him. when the ball came in. he charge at me trying to give me a flying kick. i managed to move myself further back to avoid the contact. kaoz.. such a attitude. i told him straight in his face.. "sleague player huh??? u stinks lar.. only lousy players will use tis method to kick people. lame lar u!!!". he was even more angry and threaten to injury me by sayin that he will kick me out off the pitch! i just laugh at him... seriously lar.. if can play against him again, i will tell him before the match "eee.. i dun wan to shake with a stinky player hand sia". hahaa.. after that was the halftime whistle.
our team tok for the half was very simple. it was our asst coach who was there. duno where darren is lar. we just nd to be more compose and do wat we can do. referee matters we cant do anything. the ref was siding them wif a obvious penalty claim rejected. most of us look abit dejected but we were determined to get back into the match. we continued to attack them in the 2nd half n becoz of this, we left alot of gap behind n they managed to counter-attack us. we got 2 off-the-line clearance to prevent from down even more. we noe tat if we concede the next goal, it will be game over. we dig deep and scored to make it 3-2. i tink its a cross from the right and then one of our play flick the ball and douglas scored wif a diving header. with the score 3-2 and abt 20mins to play for. we still have time for a comeback. but either the gk makes a great save or summerville is damn lucky on that day. we couldnt find the equaliser. wif time tickin away, we thot we have scored the equaliser after sentilan scored! but the linesman decided to come into the picture and raise his flag saying that sentilah use his arm to push the defender. it was obvious bullshit. how can he push a defender when he is in front of the defender! omg!!! i duno wat to say man. it wasn't our day. the ref was clueless and gave a foul against us. kaoz..everybody was so piss. the refs for the match damn cock lar. but we still attack them hoping that we can make the breakthrough. and deep into injury time, we got corner. the ball was everywhere but end up at our right flank. i tink johnny sent a cross to the far post. wif the gk stranded. one of our player head the ball back to the goal. then came douglas hanging in the air for some time stretching out his neck making sure he got a connection and head the ball into the net. it was damn happening after that. everybody went wild as we finally equalised!!! 3-3.. we did it! although it wasnt a gd result for our title hopes but at least we didn't let summerville put the gap away from us. it was also dejavu for them as durin the 1st round mtg, they scored in injury time to equaliser the match too! tat game we totally outplayed them but this game was quite open but we were obviously the better team. i was quite relieved that we managed to fightback or else i will be feeling even more terrible becoz of my miss. im trying to forget abt tis incident n move on. it has not been a good season for me coz my troublesome ankle (tat seem cannot recover). im not playin my true potential yet due to that. this 3-3 draw would be a happy news for our promotion rival, spore powers. now the promotion to div2 is abit not in our hands. we see how it goes. kudos to those played in the 2nd half. well done! next week we playing against PUB. we cannot afford to drop anymore points.
