my team was playing against pioneer csc in the nfl div3 on sat at st wilfred. it was the start of the 2nd round after we had completed the 1st round. we defeated pioneer in our opening of the nfl season winning 1-0 at meridian jc. we were expecting a stronger fight against this time round but that didn't happen. i was back in the 1st eleven after a injury hit season. my plan was actually to whack the defender who injured me in the 1st meeting during the 1st 5 mins of the match but i couldn't do it as i was feeling quite sad for my gf as her grandma just passed away in the afternoon. so my mood for the match was quite pump up or anything. i just hope i can score and get on to the game. can say im quite emotional during the match lar tats why i decided not to whack the defender. i just focus on my own game. we were attacking our opponent from the 1st whistle. as expected we played attacking football. our coach decided to start the match wif three forward. i was one of them too! my ankle was feelin ok for the match n i didn't feel tat good for a long time since i first injured. i scored the 1st goal of the match after broke the offside trap by heading home the opening goal after a good cross from faizal. as i celebrate looking up the sky and dedicate the goal to my gf and her grandmother. the 2nd came quite soon after the 1st as we were awarded a penalty after somebody from our team shot's was push over the bar by the defender. clear cut penalty plus red card! i had to tell my teammate to let me take the penalty as i watched them miss their penalty last time round. i wanted to make sure myself and the team that i will score. i look them and told them that im very confident even though johnny, who was the skipper for that match, didn't have confidence me... kaoz..he still dig up the past saying tat i miss one of the penalty for bkfc prime during the shootout. but tat was so long ago. but nevertheless... i kept my composure using my special trick to trick to the gk by sending him the wrong way. 2 goals up for me and the team is leading 2-0. same as the first, i look up in the sky and pray for my gf n her grandma. hattrick was on my mind.. i was hoping that. i had 1 good chances during the 1st half but i blew it by taking the shot too early. we were 3-0 up just before halftime as sentilan broke the offside again and was heading to goal.. i was running to support him and hoping he would square the ball to me so that i can get my hattrick but he surprised everybody by placing the shot to goal after he spotted the gk out of position. 3-0.. we were cruising. it was a good scoreline to take halftime. our game plan for the 2nd half was just to get through the match without any injuries or yellow card. our 2nd half performance was not that great as our 1st half but we still created countless of chances to score. hmm.. i could imagine if we took our chances well (clear-cut chances), it could be 10-0 or more. thats how serious we can create chances. we scored our 4th goal in the 2nd half after substitute forward, hanafi score. 4-0.. that was enough for us.. as we still continue to miss a few chances. but nvm.. we are happy for the win and now gota focus on our crucial top-table clash with leader summerville. they were damn lucky to got an injury time equaliser durin the 1st meeting where they were totally outplay by us. i will be lookin forward for the match as i finally got on the scoresheet. i wan to keep my form going. we will see how next week. ;)
